It’s a lot better than using a bar and a sledgehammer. Before we had the 2100, it took about 20 minutes to dismount and re-mount a tire. Now it only takes five minutes.
I was making money off the WL-30 twenty minutes after I unloaded it.
We used to remove transmissions by raising one end of the vehicle and working from creepers. Now, with the complete vehicle raised and using the Gray Model HTCJ-2000 Hi-Rise Transmission Jack, we have reduced in/out time by at least 40%. Our technicians like the versatility of the jack when maneuvering it under the vehicle.
We have saved a lot of time, effort and trouble with it. It is maintenance free and simple to operate. It is basically foolproof.
Gray has always been supportive and helpful to us. You can tell that the equipment is good just by looking at it. After you try it, it really works good.
Prince George is a small electric utility with 42 employees. We bought the Wireless Portable Lift System because we needed a lift but also needed to keep our bays open, so we wanted something portable. Since we bought it in the spring of 2004, we have used it every day and are very satisfied with its versatility and quality. I bought this lift from them because I’ve used their other products and like working with Gray. Gray equipment is always well made with heavy gauge steel and first-rate hydraulics so we can count on them if we need help, I can call them and get answers right away. It’s nice to talk to people who understand their products. Other companies, unable to answer my questions right away, promise to call back, but I always have to call them again a week later. It’s always refreshing to deal with a company with such good customer service.
Here at Ren Potterfield everything we have is from Gray. When I started here six years ago, we already had Gray’s truck air jack. We also have bought the transmission jack and clutch/component jack. Our most recent purchase was the Wheel Lift System. Before Ren Potterfield, I worked at a Ford dealer and all they had were Gray jacks. Their jacks are just so reliable. I really like their product. Gray is also very good to work with. We had trouble with a jack because one of our employees had operated it incorrectly and Gray sent us a jack to use while they repaired the other one. They will overnight parts if you need. You couldn’t ask for nicer people and you definitely get your money’s worth with their equipment. Gray makes an awfully good product.
