Hints

A).   Choose the piece of equipment for the job. Capacity is not the only consideration to make. Many other factors should be looked at.

  • Maneuverability and portability.
  • Precise control of raising and lowering of the load.
  • Adequate room for proper placement of vehicle support stands.
  • A combination that includes minimum starting height and maximum lift height flexible enough to do the job.

B).   Always evaluate the job! Every task, big or small should be considered very important. Always use the vehicle manufacturer's recommended lift points and follow all operating instructions.

C).   Keep your work area clean of debris. A clean working environment promotes a quality job.

D).   Frequently review all operating instructions provided. This will insure that your equipment will perform at it's optimum intended use.

E).   Keep records... most Gray service equipment is permanently serialized. It is recommended to record the serial number upon taking possession of the equipment. If future service parts or repair is required the serial number will identify the proper service parts.

F).   Ask questions... we encourage our customers to contact us with any questions, comments or suggestions.
